11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.

Last spring, the Chartered Institute of Housing Canada, alongside research consultant Nick Falvo, led a housing and homelessness study tour in London, UK. They explored major challenges such as social housing quality, the rise of mixed-tenure models by non-profit providers, and new technologies improving repairs and tenant relationships.

The tour also highlighted complex issues shaping London’s housing landscape, including migration-driven homelessness, human trafficking, and the limitations of small emergency shelters.
