Chelsea is Red River Métis, from St. Eustache, Manitoba in Treaty 1 Territory. Chelsea has recently joined Ontario Aboriginal Housing Services as the Director of Policy.

For over a decade, Chelsea has worked to influence public policy. Through progressive experience working with the Ontario Federation of Indigenous Friendship Centres, Chelsea contributed to strategic policy and program development that directly impacted urban Indigenous communities. Working collaboratively with urban Indigenous communities, government partners, and other non-profit organizations, Chelsea has enjoyed launching new and innovative projects related to supportive housing, access to justice, and increasing community members’ self-advocacy capacity.
