Chris Schmied is the Director of Learning, Training and Skills Development for St. John Ambulance (Ontario). In his role, he is responsible for curriculum, instructor development, standards, and quality of training at branches throughout the province. Chris has been with St. John Ambulance in various roles for more that 20 years. He has also spent 15 years in various training roles at Baxter Corporation, a global healthcare company.

In total, Chris has more that 30 years experience in the training industry and is a past winner of the George Stirling Ryerson Award for teaching excellence.
