Elizabeth McIsaac
President, Maytree
Elizabeth leads Maytree’s work to advance economic and social rights in Canada. She has a deep history with Maytree having previously served as its Director of Policy and as the executive director a key Maytree idea: the Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC). Before returning to Maytree in 2014, Elizabeth established and led Mowat NFP at the University of Toronto, researching the challenges facing the non-profit sector. Elizabeth currently serves as the Chair of Making the Shift: A Youth Homelessness Social Innovation Lab at York University, and as the Chair of the City of Toronto’s Housing Rights Advisory Committee.
