Hans is the President and founder of Haerko Inc., a consulting and project management firm dedicated to supporting non-profit housing organizations. Haerko’s mission is to assist these organizations in developing new housing projects and enhancing the sustainability of their existing assets, ultimately improving the lives of their residents.

With over 30 years of experience in municipal and industrial sectors, Hans has managed over $750 million in housing assets for Windsor Essex Community Housing (CHC). His leadership has been pivotal in initiatives related to asset management, passive house developments, renewal and repair planning, and the creation of master plans for housing organizations. When not professionally engaged, Hans enjoys outdoor activities, a variety of sports and spending time with his family.
