Kate Bird is the Executive Director of Ecuhome Corporation, a provider of housing and supports for individuals who have experienced homelessness. She transitioned from a successful business career, where she earned accolades like Canadian Woman Entrepreneur of the Year and was recognized as one of Canada’s Top 100 Women Business Owners for 6 years in a row.

With over a decade of leadership in the nonprofit sector, Kate is also an active board member and Secretary of the Ontario Non-Profit Housing Association, demonstrating her ongoing commitment to community development and advocacy, and the empowerment of marginalized communities.
