Monica Chu is the Manager of the Community Housing Equity and Supply Unit with the Ontario Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing. Monica is a strategic, inclusive, and authentic leader and changemaker with experience and strong focus on building and leading teams to deliver policies and initiatives. Monica has been working in the Ontario Public Service since 2006, with experience in numerous ministries in various roles of increasing responsibility. Monica leads policy development and implementation of a holistic strategy on community housing supply for both increasing new supply and maintaining existing supply, including the service agreement framework, administration of social housing mortgages, and legacy projects.
