Robert MacNeil
As the Director of Realty Initiatives, Robert is responsible for the organization’s complex real estate (re)development projects; their master planning, front-end re-housing of tenants and demolition, due diligence, scoping, design, municipal approvals, coupled with acquisitions, dispositions, and lease-outs, as a steward of OCHC’s housing portfolio.
With nearly 30 years of experience in both the public/private sectors, Canada and the USA, Robert brings a strategic and tactical approach to expanding OCHC’s portfolio with progressive new builds. These urban projects exhibit mixed incomes, mixed uses, mixed densities, and multiple phases and frequently have a public/public or public/private partnership element. Robert has a Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) degree from the University of Florida. He also holds an Honours bachelor’s in urban planning degree from the University of Waterloo.
