Technology has helped our Conference reach even more communities across Ontario, but we miss seeing you face-to-face at our events and we know that you miss it too. That’s why we’ve created a new way for you to connect at this year’s Conference.
Be part of the larger community and let your peers get to know you a little better by recording a brief video introducing yourself.
How it works
- Record a video of yourself saying the following statement: “Hi! I’m (full name), I’m the (title/position) at (organization), and I’m joining you today from (city/region)”
- End your recording with a hand wave!
- Send your video to conference@onpha.org by 5:00 P.M. on Friday, September 17, 2021.
Video guidelines
- Shoot your video in landscape/horizontal position (ie. hold your phone sideways)
- Set to the “best video quality” that’s possible on your device
- 1920 x 1080 or 4K is recommended
3 tips to help you record a great video:
- Select a neutral background for your recording
- Film indoors to avoid ambient exterior sounds
- Be mindful of noisy air conditioners or other mechanical disturbances that could affect the sound quality
- View more tips in this quick guide!
Stay tuned to see the final video and be sure to use our events platform to interact with one another throughout the Conference!
*Note: submitting a video doesn’t guarantee that you’ll be featured in the final production.
