Lace up your running shoes and join us for an ONPHA Conference tradition. This year’s Running Tour explores how mixed-income communities have evolved across Toronto, from the landmark planning of the St. Lawrence neighbourhood to the transformation of the West Don Lands. 

We’ll start in the historic St. Lawrence neighbourhood, widely recognized as an influential example of 1970s urban planning and development. Along the route, you’ll see a mix of non-profit, co-operative and Toronto Community Housing Corporation homes alongside private-market housing. 

From there, we’ll continue to the Canary District and West Don Lands, a former industrial area transformed into a mixed-use, mixed-income community and former site of the Pan Am Village. 

The route is just over 5 km, with a pace designed to keep the group together. Runners of all experience levels are welcome. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable running shoes.
