Ashley Fontaine is a housing leader with more than 15 years of experience supporting vulnerable individuals and communities across the Greater Toronto Area. As Senior Manager of Complex Tenancies at Toronto Community Housing, she oversees a specialized team that provides wraparound supports for high-needs tenants, with a focus on housing stabilization, eviction prevention, and tenant well-being. Throughout her career, Ashley has worked in a wide range of trauma-informed and community-based settings, building expertise in crisis intervention, harm reduction and system navigation. Since 2007, she has partnered with diverse stakeholders–including social service agencies, city divisions, and healthcare providers–to strengthen support networks for tenants at risk of homelessness. Ashley is recognized for her tenant-centered, trauma-informed approach and her commitment to building safe, inclusive communities where tenants can thrive. Her work continues to advance housing as a foundation for stability, dignity, and improved quality of life.
