Emily has over a decade’s worth of experience in the housing and homelessness sector. She began her career with the City of Toronto in 2009, and has worked on numerous City housing initiatives including its first ever housing and homelessness service plan, its 2018 Street Needs Assessment, and the transfer of the TCHC scattered homes to the non-profit housing sector as part of the Tenants First project. More recently, she joined the Housing Secretariat as a Housing Consultant overseeing the City’s Service Manager relationship with TCHC. Outside of work, Emily enjoys running, snowboarding, and back country camping.
