Erin Valant is the Director of Housing Services and CEO of Housing Durham at the Region of Durham. She provides strategic leadership on affordable housing, homelessness, and community housing initiatives, with a focus on systems planning, policy development, service transformation, funding coordination, and cross-sector collaboration. Erin is committed to advancing evidence-informed solutions that strengthen housing systems and improve outcomes for individuals, families, and communities. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy, Administration and Law and brings a strong policy and operational perspective to addressing complex housing challenges through innovative partnerships and continuous improvement.
