Lead, Stakeholder Relations, Reena

Gary Gladstone (Pronouns: he/him), CFRE, is Lead, Stakeholder Relations at Reena and Chair of the Intentional Community Consortium (ICC), a national network of over 80 organizations across Canada working to advance housing and support solutions for people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.

Gary has played a leadership role in advancing Reena’s Intentional Community model and in bringing the housing needs of people with developmental disabilities to governments, housing organizations and community partners. He works closely with all levels of government and sector partners on affordable and supportive housing policy, funding and the development of new housing opportunities.

Through Reena and the ICC, Gary has helped build partnerships among developmental services organizations, housing providers, governments, families and other community partners, while sharing Reena’s experience to help other organizations develop and replicate inclusive housing models. His advocacy contributed to the recognition of people with developmental disabilities within Canada’s National Housing Strategy and National Dementia Strategy.

Gary is the immediate past Chair of the Government Relations Committee of OASIS, which represents more than 200 developmental services agencies across Ontario supporting approximately 65,000 children and adults. In 2023, he received the Order of Vaughan in recognition of his contributions to the community.
