Megan Nicholson
Megan Nicholson is a seasoned social services leader with more than 15 years of experience shaping programs and strategies that empower children, families, and communities. She currently serves as Director of Strategy and Data Intelligence at Toronto Community Housing, where she drives evidence-based planning to improve housing outcomes for nearly 60,000 households.
Previously, Megan held senior roles with The Children’s Aid Society of Hamilton, Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, and the Ontario Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services, leading large-scale initiatives in child welfare, social responsibility, and community development. Her career reflects a deep commitment to strengthening social systems, advancing equity, and using data to inform impactful change.
Megan holds a PhD in Applied Social Psychology from the University of Guelph and beyond delivering TCHC’s current strategic plan and first ever data strategy, is also passionate about community service; Megan has volunteered with organizations such as FUEL, The People’s Pantry, and Out of the Cold. She is known for her strategic insight, collaborative leadership style, and dedication to creating thriving communities.
