
Stephanie Shewchuk
Stephanie Shewchuk is Director of Housing Policy at RBC Thought Leadership, where she leads research and analysis on Canada’s most pressing housing challenges. She has worked extensively on housing affordability over the years, bringing evidence-based insights to inform policy and advance solutions across sectors. Prior to joining RBC, Stephanie spent ten years at CMHC in various policy and research roles, including work on developing the National Housing Strategy and overseeing the Canadian Housing Survey. She brings a deep understanding of the housing system, the policy-making process and a commitment to driving innovative, practical approaches to one of the country’s most critical issues. Stephanie holds a master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Glasgow and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and French from the University of Calgary.
